We moved to Y Fron in 2025. Our five‑acre smallholding is on the foothills of Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Buarth sits on open common land with the Nantlle Valley rising behind us and sweeping views across the Menai Strait to the Isle of Anglesey in front. It’s the centre of our work: restoring the cottage, shaping Caban Y  Buarth, and building a life rooted in landscape, craft and slow living.

The slate heritage, the mountain trails and the agricultural community around us guide everything we do — from the cabin to the artwork to the daily rhythms of the farm. Buarth continues to grow with us, and we hope it becomes a place you’ll want to experience for yourself.
